B Corp (short for Certified B Corporation) is reserved for businesses certified by the nonprofit B Lab for voluntarily meeting higher standards of transparency, accountability, and performance.
Our B Corp Story
Our dream of becoming a B Corp was inspired by a 2014 meeting of local businesses with former Portland mayor, Charlie Hales.
We were inspired by the stories we heard of how B Corps are held to a higher standard.
It’s always been important to us that our work at Murmur has a positive impact. B Corp Certification means that we must push ourselves every year to improve our operations to benefit our employees, our community, and our environment.
