We are back in action after our much needed R&R time at Sou’wester Lodge in Seaview, Washington. It was the perfect weekend retreat to kick off the holiday season – before schedules get really hectic. (PSA: Thanksgiving is this Thursday!)
We spent the days exploring the nearby beach towns, hiking nearby trails, and strolling down the windy shore. A number of us even appeared in the latest YouTube production by Andrew’s 11-year-old, Francis Bolton. The evenings were for relaxing in the cozy trailers – sharing stories and laughs over libations or enjoying quiet movie night featuring one of our favorite VHS tapes from the lobby.
Our last night involved a pizza party, the movie premiere of Workaholic by The New FranManTheAmazing, some crafting (we made xmas ornaments), and ended with listening to live music by Charming Disaster in the lodge. There was much to do and the weather was more than ideal for all the activities.
It’s trips like these where our growing Murmur family can spend quality time together and get to know the newest additions to the family. Check out some of our trip highlights below.
