Murmur Retreat 2018

All you need for a good time is great company and cozy accommodations… a keg of Sasquatch beer helps too.

The Murmur family spent a weekend on Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula at the bohemian style Sou’wester Lodge. We took over the lodge, some cabins, and the “African Queen” (one of Sou’wester’s awesome trailers).

We soaked up the setting in the tranquil trees just a short walk from the beach. Our weekend flew by in a blur of cozy fireside games and rain dodging between outside covered areas. We also got to be extras in the films of “Fran Man the Amazing,” a precocious and visionary auteur (and Murmur owner, Andrew’s, 9 year old son).
