Embark is an adventure travel company that offers once-in-a-lifetime adventures for those who want to explore the most remote corners of the planet.
Embark was a particularly fun project for us at Murmur. Not only did we get to work with a great company, we were able to utilize amazing photography and video from around the world. For the logo, the backpacker silhouette is reminiscent of vintage travel posters, helping to ignite a sense of wanderlust in the viewer. Hairline strokes in the typography give the sophisticated serif an almost stamp like quality. The website utilizes vintage travel elements, and gorgeous photos to help visitors imagine what their own adventure might look and feel like. On destination pages, we placed typography directly into the landscape to create a cinematic and inspiring experience.
