Jenna Bruxvoort tapped into natural canine play instincts and created a one-of-a-kind dog toy inspired by her dog, Lola, who enjoyed gnawing on Loblolly Pinecones.

Brand Strategy
Loblola’s founder came to us with a clear idea of what their company represented. Our goal was to take their vision to the next level by breathing life into a brand character, defining what made their company unique, and articulating their mission statement. We kept Loblola’s core values at the forefront of each strategy piece to guide authentic branding.

Visual Identity
For branding, our aim was to reflect the lighthearted woodsy nature of Loblola. We used design as a means to differentiate from market competitors with colors and illustrations of Lola herself that were unique, memorable and ownable.
From the Client
“There’s a big difference between meandering through what your company is all about and being able to clearly articulate your brand and what you do. Murmur helped us with the latter. Through brand strategy, we gained such a clear view of who we are, as well as a sense of legitimacy as a smaller company. We also did a logo redesign and packaging design which just amplified that feeling. Murmur captured who we are so perfectly and translated that into beautiful design and copy. Such a talented, kind group of folks.”

Packaging
Packaging for Loblola’s Loblolly Pinecone presented some fun and interesting challenges. The format needed to keep in mind function for both direct to consumer and retail. We chose a custom cutout to house the product, allowing full access to the product and highlighting style and function.
